Himland Trade Monitors ( P ) Limited was set up on 21st August 1997 in INDIA … Hence the name ‘HIMLAND’ which means India : the land of the Himalayas. The company started it’s business as exporter of various textile products from India and later on expanded it’s export base to some non-textile items like Cashew, Surgical Instruments, Home Fashions, Handicrafts etc. too. The company further diversified it’s business into marketing of real estate, which is now one of the main business activities of the company. The company has now made some inroads into the business of placements and education too. Logo of the company has thus been designed to reflect the diverse business activities of the company and also to present it’s motto and spirit pictorially. It depicts the alphabet ‘H’ which is the first letter of the company’s name, it has a pictorial cone and a cheese representing the company’s textile business, it also depicts aesthetically a building to signify the real estate business of the company. The upward movement of the cone in the logo represents the ladder ... the ladder of growth and success. The flame made of threads on the top is to represent the fire and energy with which the company works. The colour yellow selected for the logo and all of company’s stationery is a non controversial colour symbolic of wisdom, reliability, trust and energy.
